I will definitely be watching this.... it could be very interesting. Rick Warren is hosting a "town hall" meeting with both of the presidential candidates. According to this video they both agreed to come if Rick was the one asking all of the questions.

Green Is The New (what color is in right now?)

Happy Earth Day! I'm not sure how exactly we celebrate today but I hope you enjoy it... whatever you do. Green is everywhere. The current issue of Time Magazine is a green issue. The Today Show is discussing green issues. Sure, it seems like a socialist fad but I think there is more to it than that.

There are different views in the church world. Some say everything is going to burn in the end and we might as well get all we can out things while we have them. Others believe that we should think deeply on what the bible says. I don't know, I'm so torn... what sense would it make for a Christ follower to see God's creation as something that we must steward in the same way we would any other provision/resource that he has given? This is another one of those grey areas - abuse God's gift to us or steward it well? I know what you are thinking - you will have to pray about it.
